How long does the school meet?
Each year at CSR is 8 months long.
Do I have to quit my job?
No, the school is designed to fit into your normal life.
Can anyone apply?
Applications are open to anyone over the age of 18.
Are you required to go on the missions trip?
While mission trips are encouraged, they are not required. We understand that the time & financial commitment will not work for every student.
Does this school offer accreditation?
Not at this time.
How much homework should I expect?
The average week will have approximately 2-4 hours of homework.
What if I do not get accepted?
If you are not accepted we will let you know why and what to work on to be able to attend the following year.
Are there scholarships available?
Not at this time.
Is there a supply list for the items I may need?
The only items you will need to buy are the books on the book list.
Who are the instructors?
Our instructors are local pastors as well as guest speakers that have hands on experience in their area of instruction. These instructors include but are not limited to: Jake & Katie Veach - Senior Leaders of Heart City, Melissa McQuillen - Director of CSR, Shannon Dennis - CSR 1st Year Overseer & Founder of Both And Coaching as well as other local staff, local pastors and international guest speakers.
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
Yes, we ask that all students are followers of Jesus, but if you do not yet know Jesus, we are happy to help with that.
What if I have to miss a class?
Students are given a certain number of absences to manage however they see fit for each semester.
Do I have to attend Heart City Church to be a student?
No, it is our desire to see the whole body of Christ trained and equipped to live like Jesus.
Will there be community outreaches or missional opportunities in and outside of Dublin?
Yes, evangelism training and outreach are an active part of the school curriculum with many opportunities to reach out to Dublin and beyond.
